My Blessings

|
I'm thankful for God in giving his Son so that all might have a home in heaven and I'm thankful in having
Christian parents and family.
My son, who is a
Christian, a wonderful husband to my amazing daughter in law..and a good father to his 3 wonderful children...I am so blessed
to have such a wonderful family...God is so good to me.
A
Christian friend who gets out of bed at 3:30 in the morning to get you to the day surgery center at 6 am.
And another who brings you a variety of homemade meals to enjoy while trapped at home recovering. And little girls
who write sweet e-mails offering to help you.
My beautiful little cat with his quirky little cat personality; God
made him just for me, knowing how much happiness His lovely creation would bring to me every day.
Wonderfully aromatic
foods and herbs -- orange, lemon, cilantro, rosemary, basil, vanilla, almond -- God delights the senses and provides nutrition.
A hot shower, shampoo, a fresh nightgown, crispy clean sheets, cool from the spring breeze flowing through the screen:
bliss!
Prayer, forgiveness, wisdom from Above, moments of peaceful, clean conscience before Him.
Spring!
What a wonderful time of year! Hope is illustrated in every bud on every branch!
My health and being able to serve the Lord in helping elderly people and their
families best I can. -Carole James

I
am thankful for my husband and my healthy beautiful daughter. Living safe in a country where we can afford to buy food
and clothes. And all the other many necessities God has given us. And that we can still love each other after many difficult
times. That all our needs are cared for by prayer. And to be able to have patience and accept that God answers us in
His own time. -Lynette

I
am thankful for my 4 children and my 4 grandchildren. In my prayers, I thank God for them. I am very blessed
to have them. -Azalea

An
answered prayer as of yesterday. I have been on my knees about my beloved 22 year old daughter, and that employment
would bring her back towards home. She graduated from FC, and then graduated from WKU, this past December. Just
3 weeks ago, unbeknownst to me, she applied to be an AU Paire for a family in Washington, D. C. area. They hired her,
and she came home Sunday, and left today to start this new journey! It only took her 1 and 1/2 hrs. to get to the employer's
residence! So, now instead of 12 hours away in KY she is 1 1/2 hrs. away, plus she gets weekends off! Thank-you God! . My son, he is a gentle,
strong, and faithful person. He was going to see his sister last week, for a vacation, but it turned into a moving party!
He did it anyway, and helped to bring our daughter's worldly belongings home! God brought them both home safely! . My husband is thoughtful
and kind. I have been under the weather with fibro. for a week now, and yet, he hasn't complained, he did the dishes,
the laundry, and cooked. Its hard to just let go and let someone else do your job, but I was thankful he did! . Finally, I am thankful to be a child of God, and have many brothers and sisters in Christ! --Tonya Shipley, PA

I am so very
thankful at this time because my son, Tim Meeks, has just went through a very rigorus time at Mayo clinic in Jacksonville
Florida, he was having serious problems with his kidneys. Upon further examination they found that he had somthing
wroung with his blood, so they took him in and harvested his own stem cells, this took two weeks, then he had two chemo
treatment's (Sat. & Sun.). Monday, they put his stem cells back in, so far he seems to be doing fine. He will be in the
hospital for 20 days and then he will have to stay there for probably 2 months, so I'm asking for your prayers.
GOD is awesone and he will take care of my son, In Christ Jesus
we are all safe. Beulah Lyman It's amazing
what doctors have learned to do! Tim is in our prayers, Beulah. Please keep us posted on how he is doing. (This message came
in on July 21st) pg

God
never give up on me even I gave up on him 3 weeks ago because I was so angry at Him. I'm thankful that I still be able to
hope and have faith and through this faith and His promise I shall live in His blessing and love. Thank you Father...these trials have brought me to a deeper level connections and faith
to You. I'm thankful for my everyday life. I'm able to sit, enjoy
morning breakfast, lunch and dinner with family. My job is running smoothly, my health and my family is in a perfect condition.
I'm very thankful indeed Lord. I'm thankful that I slowly begin
to let go of hatred. I'm thankful that You still want me Lord..
Thank You, Livia Yapyter
I'm
sitting here pain-free. What a blessing!
In March
2009, my father was dead twenty years. Twenty years ago I could not shed a tear for him, but this year my tears flowed freely
and my heart is now a lighter place. More room for God nowadays and Godly doings. Though my heart is not exactly singing,
it is not stinging any more. God's blessing to me: to allow me time to change and for the better. Phil 4: 7 (nasb)

My greatest
blessing has been watching my adult children interact with their spouses and their children!
It shows me that by
following God's Will, I have helped make them who they are. They are in turn following God's Will and Way, and are
being great Christian spouses and parents.
It proves to me that God's way is the best way. It lets me know
that I have been a good parent. I have set a good example. They were good learners.
I have been thrilled
to see the boys being hands-on dads with newborns. I have watched in wonder as I see them showing care and concern for
their wives and the mothers of their children. It has given ME a new perspective on life.
It is hard work
to rear a child; but it is soooo rewarding when they are no longer yours to control in any way, and you see that they are
doing such a great job with their lives, their families and with YOU!!
I pray that we will all be better parents
and grandparents. That we will go to our graves with a smile knowing that the hard work was worth it. -Carol

He
has shown me how to cry real tears and that it is okay to allow tears be seen in public. From childhood I'd been 'taught'
to cry was a great show of weakness and was punishable. Over time (about 35 years) I became addicted to eating as a way of
expressing my emotions (most of them) and in time 'lost' the ability to emotionally express myself. I ate and in so
doing I punished my body for 'feeling'. Two years ago God's blessing to me was allowing me to go through
a treatment centre, though run by worldly people, taught me much also. I can now cry (not as often as I would like) and sometimes
with friends, without feeling shame. James 1: 2 - 3 I used daily
as my leaning and learning method. The 'trial' for me was to open up as against keeping stoic. I take great comfort
from John 10:27-30. - Angela

My husband has truly been a great blessing to me over a
span of most of our married life...forty-one years on August nineth of this year, 2008. He's never forgotten any of my birthdays,
anniversaries, or Valentine's days giving me beautiful cards with heartfelt words and many times a dozen of beautiful roses.
And sometimes he's surprised me with a fresh bouquet of flowers for no special reason or occasion.
Also, over the years, I've suffered with much back pain and had a major back surgery in 2004. And lately, I'm having another
episcode with back pain...hoping and praying that any more surgery will be necessary to give me relief of my pain. During
all these years, my husband has been a tremendous help and very supportive...doing a lot of the household chores, grocery
shopping, etc. My husband is the greatest and one in a million! -Alma

I would
have to say my greatest blessing is my husband of nearly 46 years. We have had our share of ups and downs but as we
both "mellow" with age, we seem to be enjoying each other so much more. He is a fine upstanding Christian
gentleman in every sense of the word. I am so thankful I met him in high school, as he was there when I needed guidance
to become a Christian and he has been guiding me since then. I am so glad he was the father to our two children who
now have given us five grandchildren. God knew very well what he was doing to send Leon my way. Our life has been blessed
in so many ways, but this is one blessing I will cherish forever! In fact, I would probably have to admit that I really
got the better end of this deal for sure. - Ruth H. Miller

#1 is my great husband - Cal.
There are so many ill that don't have the support of family because they don't believe your illness is real.
My husband has never doubted me for a moment. Instead of play toys(latest gadgets), we spend money on vitamins,
accupuncture and other alternative treatments that are not covered my insurance. What a blessed day it was 46 years
ago when I married Cal. -Billie
